Healing Hands Of Mercy

A service was held where employees' hands were anointed and a prayer, "May God Bless Your Hands for Service", was said as a blessing consecrating employees in their responsibilities. A collage of employee handprints and their names was made at that first service held in September 1995. The collages were later framed and hung in the hospital lobby.

Our service of anointing of hands has continued as an annual event and now is held in September in conjunction with the CHI Feast Day celebrating the Spirituality of Work.
